Job summary

42 North Dental in New Berlinville, PA is seeking a licensed Dentist (DMD/DDS) to lead the patient treatment journey from initial exam to comprehensive care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position is part-time with two Saturdays per month (7AM-12PM) and offers comprehensive benefits, freedom to grow professionally through Harvard Rounds Network CE events, and an attractive daily rate.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
