Job summary

42 North Dental in Tannersville, PA is seeking a Dentist to join our patient-centered practice built by dentists for dentists. The role spans the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Part-time schedule includes two Saturdays per month 7am-12pm; benefits include health insurance, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k), CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network, and continuing

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education
