Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with a focus on periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Expect a strong patient flow and opportunities for CE and professional growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
