Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to join our team. The Dentist will oversee the full clinical patient experience—from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care—with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%, with 2-3 days per week (8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM) and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination
• Evidence of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plans with patients and explain options.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standards and ethics in patient care.
• Stay updated on developments and best practices.

Education
