Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to care, with a focus on in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Part-time schedule with Saturday mornings and a strong emphasis on education and mentorship within a supportive network of doctors. Daily rate opportunities are available for this role.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review, interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
