Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on options, and create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program and be licensed to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B must be documented and up to date.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.
• Daily rate opportunity commensurate with part-time scheduling and experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and explain risks/benefits.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

State license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documented

Malpractice insurance proof

BLS/CPR certification
