Job summary

42North Dental seeks a skilled Dentist to join our established practice in a part-time capacity. You will manage the full patient experience from exams to treatment delivery, with in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics available. Expect a steady flow of new patients and a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, treatment planning, patient education, and maintaining high standards of care and ethics while keeping up with continuing education.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
