Job summary

42North Dental seeks a licensed dentist to promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, and create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health. You will review options with patients and maintain accurate medical and dental records.

The position offers a part-time schedule with Saturday shifts and benefits including a 401K plan, continuing education at no cost, and mentorship within a nationwide network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education
