Job summary
42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans.
You will review options with patients and maintain accurate dental records while staying current with best practices and new technologies. Qualified candidates hold a DMD or DDS, possess an active state license, hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
- Active state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues
- Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism
- Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
