Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time dentist to promote oral health, diagnose conditions, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans. You will review records, interpret X-rays, and provide restorative and preventive care while maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
