Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care, from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care, in a patient-centered practice. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on high-quality care and patient education.

The role includes serving a steady flow of new patients, maintaining records, and upholding ethics and professionalism in every interaction. Daily rate ranges from $750 to $900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
