Job summary

42 North Dental in Bangor, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our patient-centered team; you'll manage the full clinical patient experience, from exams to treatment planning, with in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program and be licensed to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance are required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required or current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Review treatment plans with patients and maintain records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests to support care.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics; pursue ongoing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
