Job summary

42 North Dental in Bally, PA is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice on a part-time basis. You will lead the patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services across restorative, periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics, as needed.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited program)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
