Job summary

42 North Dental in Swiftwater, PA is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our established practice. You will lead the full clinical patient experience from examination to treatment planning and delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics and endodontics.

The role offers a part-time schedule (two Saturdays a month, 7AM-12PM, Labor Day to Memorial Day) and a competitive daily rate of $750-$900 USD, plus comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality and ethical standards of care.
• Stay updated with new developments and best practices through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
