Job summary
42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care from exam through treatment planning and execution. You will lead the patient experience, collaborate with specialists, and maintain detailed records while offering restorative and preventive services.
The role includes a limited Saturday schedule, with opportunities for growth, CE and competitive benefits at the practice in Lenhartsville, PA.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
- Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
- Keep abreast of developments through continuing education
