Job summary

42North Dental in New Tripoli, PA seeks a part-time Dentist to manage the full patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care. Office offerings include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a steady flow of new patients monthly.

The Dentist will promote oral health, diagnose and treat conditions, and educate patients on options and plans. Schedule is two Saturdays per month, 7AM-12PM, with a supportive mentorship network.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education
