Job summary

42 North Dental is looking for a Dentist to join our established practice, delivering the complete patient experience from exam to treatment plan and care delivery. You will educate patients and develop plans across in‑office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Schedule is part‑time (Labor Day through Memorial Day, two Saturdays per month from 7 AM to 12 PM) with a daily rate offered at $750–$900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
