42North Dental in North Whitehall Township, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the full patient care cycle from initial exams to treatment delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a strong patient flow and opportunities to participate in ongoing CE events. The position is part-time with weekend hours and requires a DDS/DMD, state license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
