Job summary

42North Dental seeks a part-time general dentist to deliver comprehensive clinical care across the patient journey from examination to treatment delivery. The role encompasses in-office specialty services and a focus on preventive and restorative dentistry within a collaborative practice.

The position supports flexible scheduling (2-3 days per week) with daily guaranties or a percentage of collections up to 36%. Excellent benefits and ongoing CE opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Review and maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
