Job summary
42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join Hollidaysburg, PA practice. You will manage the full patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
The Dentist is responsible for promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, educating patients, and creating and reviewing treatment plans.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
- Current state dental license
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
- Proof of malpractice insurance
- Current BLS or CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans and deliver care
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Maintain and update medical and dental records
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures in the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
- Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
