Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to join our team in Hollidaysburg, PA. The role covers the full patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will work 2-3 days per week with a daily guarantee or a 36% collections-based compensation. Benefits include health insurance with optional HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
