Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dentistry in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist for a part-time role. Join a supportive team with a focus on building lasting patient relationships and delivering high-quality hygiene services.

Open treatment rooms and a schedule with existing and new patient appointments support a predictable, patient-centered environment. You will work closely with the dentist and hygienist team to maintain exceptional clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling as needed.
• Perform oral health assessments and document findings.
• Take digital radiographs and maintain patient records.

• Collaborate with the doctor and dental team to ensure great patient experience.

Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist - Great Lakes Family Dentistry

Great Lakes Family Dentistry is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a hygienist looking for a consistent schedule, a supportive team, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients.

We are growing our hygiene department and have open treatment rooms available.

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Existing patients: 60-minute appointments
• New patients: 90-minute appointments

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as needed
• Perform oral health assessments and accurately document clinical findings
• Take digital radiographs and maintain up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients through excellent communication and compassionate care
• Collaborate with the doctor and dental team to provide an exceptional patient experience
• Follow all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Passion for patient care and education
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Experience with digital charting and radiography preferred
