Job summary

Sanford L. Barr, DDS is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers a Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM schedule, with an emphasis on exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships.

Compensation includes an hourly option of $55-$60 or 35% of adjusted production, plus paid holidays, PTO, 401(k) with employer contributions, continuing education, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current local anesthesia certification (if required by state law).
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care.
• Experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Perform scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver excellent patient care.

Sanford L. Barr, DDS is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with patients.

Schedule

Part-Time Position

• Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Appointment Times

• Recall & Periodontal Maintenance Appointments: 60 minutes

Compensation

• $55-$60 per hour OR
• 35% of adjusted production
• Compensation structure will be based on experience and qualifications
