Job summary

Sanford L. Barr, DDS is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate provides compassionate patient care and builds lasting relationships with patients.

Responsibilities include hygiene procedures, radiographs, patient education, and periodontal maintenance. Hours are Fridays, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with a competitive compensation package including hourly pay or production-based earnings, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k), CE opportunities,

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care.
• Experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Current local anesthesia certification (if required by state law).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings.
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Perform scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver excellent patient care.

Sanford L. Barr, DDS is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and building lasting relationships with patients.

Schedule

Part-Time Position

• Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Appointment Times

• Recall & Periodontal Maintenance Appointments: 60 minutes

Compensation

• $55-$60 per hour OR
• 35% of adjusted production
• Compensation structure will be based on experience and qualifications
