Job summary

Middlebury Dental Group is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in our Middlebury, CT office. The role focuses on chairside assistance, room preparation, and efficient patient flow to ensure a smooth visit.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and familiarity with HIPAA and Carestack or similar software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
• Proficiency with Carestack or similar dental software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain treatment rooms and instruments.
• Record patient information and document clinical data in Carestack.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Support efficient patient flow and scheduling.
