Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Mishawaka seeks a Dental Assistant Instructor to teach year-round morning and evening classes on a part-time, PRN basis.

Teaching experience and a national certification (RDA AMT or CDA DANB) are required, with 3+ years in the field or 5+ years with certification. Flexible for schedule, strong communication, and commitment to student success are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification as an RDA (AMT) or CDA (DANB) and formal training in a dental assisting program.
• If you do not have the formal education, you can qualify with 5+ years’ experience in the field and a national certification.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience with curriculum
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.
• Campus staff must be able to stand for extended periods and facilitate student participation.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in day or evening sessions.
