Job summary

Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Illinois is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support dentists in the General Practice Residency program. This 20-hour-per-week role includes chairside assistance, radiographic work, room setup, and patient care.

Rotating schedule with Tue, Thu, and Fri as common days; office hours vary. Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly preferred; CPR certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years dental assistant experience.
• Current CPR certification to be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support to dentists using four-handed assisting techniques.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Prepare, maintain, sterilize, and stock treatment rooms and supplies.
• Assist with lab duties, including creating dental models.
• Support operating room procedures as a dental scrub nurse when needed.
• Complete quality, safety, compliance and continuing education requirements.
• Perform coronal polishing and sealant applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
