Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to provide clinical support in the General Practice Residency Program. Responsibilities include chairside assisting, radiographic work, room preparation, and maintenance, plus coronal polishing and sealants as requested by dentists.
The role requires 1-2 years of experience, strong communication skills, CPR certification, and preferred bilingual ability (Spanish/English). Schedule is 20 hours per week with varied office hours.
Under supervision of the Manager, the Dental Assistant provides clinical support for dentists in the General Practice Residency Program. Responsibilities include: chairside assisting, radiographic film taking and processing, room set-up and breakdown and room stocking and maintenance. In addition, other support duties such as coronal polishing and application of pit and fissure sealants are also performed, as requested by the dentists.

Schedule: 20 hours/week. Rotating based on need during office hours. Tues, Thurs, and Fri's are the days we most commonly need staffing on. Our office hours are Mon - 830a-6, Tues - 730-4 or 830a-5. Wed - 830a-6, Thurs 830a-4, Fri - 830a-4. We do rotate monthly to work an hour later on Thurs and Fri to help cover sedation dental patients.
