Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental assisting certificate or degree preferred.
• Experience with dental software and electronic records helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
• Maintains infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Explains procedures and post-operative instructions to patients and families.
• Maintains patient records with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Prepares operatories and instruments for procedures and room turnover.
• Assists with radiographs and charting as directed.
• Performs miscellaneous duties to support daily clinic operations.
