Job summary

Espire-Dental in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a passionate dental professional for a part-time role (2-3 days/week). You will prepare patients, assist with procedures, and ensure infection control. You’ll document treatment, expose X-rays, and provide post-care guidance while supporting dentists and hygienists.

The ideal candidate is skilled with dental equipment, familiar with Cerec and EMR software, and eager to train and travel as needed to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Passionate dental professional who loves what they do.
• Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments.
• Knowledge of Cerec and intraoral scanning a plus.
• Experience with sedation and dental implant placement/restoration a plus.
• Willingness to participate in training, which may include travel.
• Experience using digital technology and electronic medical records.
• Willing to build trust with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental work and assist with procedures.
• Maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and setting up trays.
• Assist dentists during emergencies and with hygienist procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care and document treatment information.
• Expose dental X-rays and care for X-ray equipment.
• Counsel patients on dental hygiene and plaque control.
• Record medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Give postoperative instructions and manage equipment care.
• Create preliminary impressions and order supplies as needed.
• Fabricate temporary restorations from preliminary impressions.
