Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Dental Anesthesia Assistant to support pediatric dental anesthesia care in clinical settings. You will assist anesthesia practitioners with pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care, monitor recovery, and provide parental guidance.

Responsibilities include managing equipment logistics, transporting and setting up anesthesia equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and communicating with medical staff and families to maintain smooth clinic

Qualifications

  • Experience as a dental anesthesia assistant, EMT, or CMA.
  • Certification as a Dental Anesthesia Assistant (DAANCE) or willingness to obtain it within a year.
  • IV, BLS/PALS, and ACLS certifications (ACLS within 30 days of employment).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to lift 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to drive up to 90 miles; some Saturday shifts may be required.
