Job summary

JASPER is recruiting a part-time Delivery Driver in Visalia, CA. You will load, unload, and drive a 20-24' box truck, delivering to customers with a focus on safety and service. You must follow DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated, with ability to use GPS for routing and to handle pallet jack/forklift tasks as needed. Schedule is two 10-hour days with no weekends or overnights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use a GPS for efficient routing.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24' box truck.


• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.


• Following DOT rules and regulations.


• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.


• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.


• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Schedule:

• 2 days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays; workload may include additional days if necessary).


• 10-hour shifts and hours may vary.


• No weekends.


• No overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)


• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).


• Understanding of how to use a GPS.


• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $21/hour.
