Job summary

The GIANT Company is looking for a Deli Team Member to join our Easton, PA store. You will handle deli products from receiving to display, ensuring quality and safety.

You will deliver excellent customer service, assist customers with product selection, and maintain clean and organized deli areas. Responsibilities include processing and weighing items, stocking displays, and following safety protocols and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to store customers.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain shelves, cases and displays, including stocking and cleaning (weights vary).
• Maintain cooler conditions and rotate product (weights can exceed 20 lbs, up to 50 lbs).
• Keep prep areas clean and sanitized, and comply with safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local deli regulations.
• Keep the sales floor clean and safe, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide friendly customer service, answer questions, and promote products.
