Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team. We provide training and a positive atmosphere, with a focus on remarkable guest service, samples, and suggestive selling.

You will slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese, prepare salads, and keep the deli area stocked and appealing, with strict adherence to safety rules. Growth and benefits accompany employment at Coborn’s.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• May be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products
