Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Part Time Deli Clerk to slice, package, and weigh deli products, including cheeses and meats, while keeping display cases clean and well stocked.

You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to Members, help with special orders, and ensure food safety and accuracy in weighing and labeling. Previous deli experience is preferred; applicants must be at least 18 and ready to join a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service to Members and answer questions.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Assist Members with special orders and product selection.
• Receive, inspect, and stock deli shipments; maintain freshness and display cases.
• Ensure product dating and food safety standards are followed.
• Maintain clean, organized deli area and equipment safety.
