Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery team member to provide quality customer service and maintain department standards. You will help with product preparation, labeling, and display, ensuring food safety and proper sanitation.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate transactions, and teamwork with associates while following store policies and safety guidelines. Training is provided to meet company standards and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery.
• Maintain sanitation of the department and proper food handling.
• Follow manuals for processing, labeling, and displaying merchandise.
• Ensure ordering, receiving and inventory processes follow store guidelines.
• Adhere to safety rules and report incidents per policy.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge when on duty.
• Complete required CBT, training packets, and courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
