This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an excellent place to work and shop. Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards, providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and managing salvage products.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination.
Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and communicate effectively in English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction with money and weight measurements.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: Regularly standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision requirements include close, color, and depth perception.
