We are hiring for a part-time Deli Bakery Clerk at Harris Teeter. The primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This includes product knowledge, food preparation, sales, customer relations, and teamwork to create a positive shopping environment.
Key responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards, as well as cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and managing salvage products.
Qualifications include:
Educational requirements are a high school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience or training. Language skills in English are necessary for reading, writing, and effective communication. Basic math skills are required for handling transactions and measurements.
Additional requirements include completing company training on various safety and food handling topics, and physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), and perform other physical tasks as needed.
