A leading grocery store chain is seeking part-time associates to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards in food preparation and product management. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork. The role involves various responsibilities, including stocking products and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.
Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards. Additionally, the role involves providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products according to standards.

Associates must be at least 18 years old.
Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and associates who only speak English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Completion of company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Must regularly lift up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Reaching from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
