Job summary

Fastenal Company is seeking energetic, team-oriented individuals for a part-time DC Export role at our Denton distribution center. You will coordinate hands-on tasks for international trade, including intake, inspection, quality checks, and shipment generation, using scanners and warehouse software.

This entry-level position offers a flexible schedule after onboarding, with shifts Mon–Thu 2:00 pm–8:00 pm and Sun 9:00 am–4:00 pm, up to 28 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs up to 100lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico, Guam)

Responsibilities

• Receiving, auditing, inspecting, scanning, packing and shipping product while maintaining traceability.
• Operating computer programs and wireless handheld devices.
• Executing multiple receiving, inspection, or shipping requests at different stages.
• Completing required training within the training period.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules.
• Participating in activities and programs that support health and sustainability objectives.
• Learning, passing, and practicing EH&S trainings.
