Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Chartwells K-12 division is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker at Bristol-Warren Regional, Bristol, RI. The role involves preparing, presenting and serving food, with prep tasks and customer service during a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday from 9:15 am to 1:30 pm.

Prior food handling experience is preferred and there is no night or weekend work. Pay ranges from $18.05 to $18.55 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior food handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from stations.
• Stores food with proper dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Ensures proper portion control and serving temperatures.
