Job summary

Allied Universal in Cincinnati is looking for a part-time Security Officer for daytime perimeter patrol at a financial institution. The role includes unarmed security duties, monitoring entry points, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This position offers a part-time schedule (Mon-Tue 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) with pay of $17.43 per hour. A background check and possible drug screening are required where permitted by law, with licensing as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles (as applicable).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
