Job summary

The Goddard School is seeking a part-time team member to support teachers across classrooms and help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. You will supervise children, assist with activities, and contribute to a clean, organized classroom.

We offer a part-time schedule (Mon–Fri) with no nights or weekends, competitive hourly pay, paid holidays, and opportunities for professional development and growth within the school. Prior childcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in classrooms throughout the school.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and daily routines.
• Assist with educational activities, transitions, and classroom management.
• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
