Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass required child care background checks.
• Must meet state requirements for employment in a licensed childcare program.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete required certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing, high-quality care to children.
• Supervise and actively engage with children during afternoon activities and play.
• Assist with snacks, toileting/diapering, and other daily care needs.
• Greet and communicate with parents during afternoon pick-up.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming environment for children and families.
• Complete end-of-day classroom cleaning and closing tasks.
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and prepared for the following day.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
• Follow all Kids Crossing policies and state childcare licensing requirements.

Part-Time Daycare Closer

Kids Crossing Daycare is looking for a dependable and caring Part-Time Closer to join our team!

This position will work in and help close our Part-Time Daycare, caring for young children and helping make sure the classroom is ready for the next day.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent afternoon hours, with the potential to move into a full-time position in the future!

Hours & Job Information

• Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Consistent weekday schedule
• No nights or weekends!
• Potential to transition into a full-time position
• Additional benefits may be available based on hours worked

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing, and high-quality care to children
• Supervise and actively engage with children during afternoon activities and play
• Assist with snacks, toileting/diapering, and other daily care needs
• Greet and communicate with parents during afternoon pick-up
• Maintain a warm, welcoming environment for children and families
• Complete end-of-day classroom cleaning and closing tasks
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and prepared for the following day
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff
• Follow all Kids Crossing policies and state childcare licensing requirements
