Job summary

TriHealth’s Hospice of Cincinnati is seeking a Unit Coordinator to support patients and families in its Central Inpatient Unit in Blue Ash. The role focuses on patient flow, ordering transcription, and coordinating care with nurses and doctors on a part-time day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM).

You will work independently in a home-care/field-adjacent setting, require strong communication, computer literacy, and empathy. High school diploma required; previous clerical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Capable of operating office and clerical equipment.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with staff, patients, families, and other departments. Relays accurate information and maintains confidentiality.
• Manages patient flow, responds to calls and call lights, supports interdisciplinary care.
• Maintains census and accurate transcription of physician orders in facilities not yet live on TriHealth Connect.
• Demonstrates knowledge of unit procedures and prioritizes tasks accordingly.
