Responsibilities

• Assist cook on duty with non-cooking tasks and support sanitary, safe, and pleasant dietary conditions for patients and others served by Dietary Department
• Follow planned menu and prepare food and beverages according to tested recipes
• Provide food service to residents and assist in serving beverages and tray cart
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and utensils
• Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop work areas
• Assist with duties of the Cook and Assistant Cook in meal preparation
• Perform other duties as assigned
