Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) – Screening Records Specialist in Leesburg, VA to protect clients across industries at a technology data center. You will screen personnel and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain screening docs while delivering professional customer service. Position is part-time with a pay rate of $26.06 per hour.

Schedule includes Tue/Wed/Thu evenings. A college degree and security experience are required, along with typing speed, background

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A college degree is required.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Must be at least 18 years old (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening protocols.
• Screen individuals, credentials, packages, and materials entering the facility according to policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain entry screening documentation.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following emergency procedures.
• Perform regular patrols and monitor perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
