Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Data Entry in Leesburg, VA to serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries at a technology data center location. You will screen personnel and visitors, monitor access points, verify credentials, and report security concerns to site leadership.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a college degree, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• College degree required.
• Type at least 40 words per minute.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening requirements, and emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Screen individuals, credentials, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with established entry requirements; verify authorization and direct visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
• Monitor access points and screening equipment, maintain awareness of unusual activity, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate response personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
