NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA invites an Academic Part Time Intern to join the Business Administration team. You will build dashboards, automate workflows, and translate business needs into practical solutions using Power BI, Power Automate/Power Apps, and SharePoint-based environments.

The role reinforces business, data analytics, and information systems foundations while delivering tangible projects and portfolio visibility.

Formación

• Must be currently enrolled at least half-time at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Must be available to work 20 hours per week
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work with and interpret data
• Demonstrated interest in both business strategy and technical implementation and ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

Responsabilidades

• Understand business development workflows, data needs, and opportunity lifecycle processes
• Design and develop dashboards, trackers, and lightweight applications for opportunity tracking and portfolio visibility
• Support automation of manual workflows using appropriate tools
• Organize and structure data from multiple sources to enable consistent reporting and analysis
• Develop internal team sites or knowledge-sharing platforms to improve information accessibility
• Collaborate with team members and division personnel on assigned tasks
• Provide backup support during periods of high demand
