Job summary

Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, seeks an Academic Part Time Intern to join the Section Business Administration Office and support a broad range of administrative functions. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at least half-time at a college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Demonstrated interest in business strategy and technical implementation.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards, trackers, and lightweight apps to support opportunity tracking and portfolio visibility.
• Automate manual workflows using appropriate tools to improve processes.
• Organize and structure data from multiple sources for consistent reporting and analysis.
• Develop internal team sites or knowledge-sharing platforms to improve information accessibility.
• Collaborate with Section Business Administration Office and technical personnel on tasks.
• Provide backup support to the Section business teams during high-demand periods.
